Meet Our Veterinary Technicians & Assistants:

Hello, my name is Irene. I’m a Veterinary Technician and have been working here at Rancho San Diego Animal Hospital since 2004. I am a proud parent of 2 beautiful animals, my 10 year old black cat Yoda, and my 10 year old Rottweiler D.G. I always knew growing up that I would one day be in a profession working with animals. I now get to work with many dogs, cats, and exotics, and I love every day that I get to help out our little furry, slithery, feathery and scaly friends.

My name is Margo and I’ve been working with animals for the past 15 years. I’ve been with RSDAH for the past 4 years. My favorite part of my job is working with a variety of pets. I am amazed by all the different species from the smallest bird or reptile to the largest dog. I have a small zoo at home including 3 dogs (Anubis, Shayda & Schotzie), 7 cats, Taltos the Guinea Pig and 2 reptiles.

My name is Yvonne and my job here at Rancho San Diego Animal Hospital is to inform clients about basic pet maintenance. Ask me about flea control, heartworm prevention and the importance of Spaying and Neutering. I love my job and I love to help animals in need. The favorite part of my job is helping everything come together so the client and patient walk out happy. I have pets at home; they are considered family to me. I love my 2 awesome cats, 3 wonderful dogs, 2 crazy chickens and my very entertaining aquarium filled with a wide variety of exotic fish.

I’m Kelly, a Veterinary Assistant. One of my favorite duties is to check in clients. I love to make sure you have a great experience from the moment you step into our office until you leave. I also assist in surgeries, monitoring patients under anesthesia and I’m well versed in the many ways to handle all the different species we see here. I’m the proud owner of a rescued Greyhound, who is currently receiving care at the hospital, including Accupuncture.

I’m Jody and I’ve worked in the veterinary health profession for over 20 years. I get excited by our ability to treat animal illness in ways we never could before, and we continue to learn so much about prevention.
I have 2 cats and a bird as pets of my own and hope they always receive the most up to date health care they deserve, as important parts of my family – and I hope to pass this along to the pet owners I get to work with and help.
